Since the founding of the church in September 2001, Shepherd of the Prairie has lived its mission of “Caring for God’s Children of All Ages.” This compact building at the corner of Main Street and Manhattan Drive provide all of the facilities to reach a growing population and fulfill that mission. From the sunny nursery to the high school education space, the building offers flexible facilities for education of all ages. Worshipers enter a large gathering space with a welcome center before moving into an inspiring sanctuary. Besides worship, the multi-use sanctuary also provides space for various dining, recreation, and social activities. The intent of the building design accommodates potential future expansion which will include a preschool, more classrooms, offices, increased recreation space, and a larger sanctuary. Long range master planning and special use/PUD services.
